Brian Dennis' Streamers series celebrates the effervescent beauty of summer, manifesting the season's golden aura as vibrant, tactile collages. Each work seeks to capture the shimmering dance of sunlight on water, the radiant warmth of a summer day, and the overall splendor that defines this fleeting time of year.

Constructed from an array of materials, these mixed-media pieces draw inspiration from interplaying light, color, and texture. Layers of metallic leafing, iridescent paint, and hued paper blend to evoke the sun's golden glow and the cool, reflective qualities of water. Layering, dripping, and creasing create hypnotic surfaces that mimic organic impressions of gently lapping waves or dappled light seen through summer’s foliage.

The pieces are vertical, roughly the size of a human, and depict flowing movement like celebratory banners catching a summer breeze or light cascading downwards. The works intend to be immersive, inviting the viewer to revel in the tactile richness and luminous energy of the season. "Streamers" aims to distill the ephemeral essence of Summer into vivid visual poems.
